Notes from the Feeley/Warba Rec meeting on 7/05/00

In attendance were Becky McCauley, Lori Hamm, Mark Carlson, and Tami Richardson

First thing discussed was what Warren found out about the County doing the road.  The said they will do the road up to the culvert. It is not known if they are going to provide the culvert.  Becky will ask Warren about the culvert.  Warren is going to talk to Kevin about a new bid excluding the road up to the culvert and also excluding the washed sand for the playground area and the seeding.  We feel we can seed it ourselves.

Second thing discussed was the ordering of the playground equipment and the total price.  The total price will be $9946.49 including the freight and tax.

Becky will call IRRB on how the payment works for the $15,000 that they are donating.  Becky will also call Beefy Lawson on the $1500 they agreed to pay for a piece of equipment.  The $1500 is for the swing set.  We will be ordering this equipment on July 19^th.  Also brought up was where to ship the equipment.  Some ideas were the warming shack or the old Sportsmax building.  We would have to get a hold of the new owner. A decision hasn’t been made yet.

Third thing discussed was the landscaping timber for around play area.  Mark Carlson is going to check into this.
