Minutes for Warba/ Feeley Recreation Board Meeting 02/15/01

In attendance were Warren Spawn, Mark Carlson, Lori Hamm, and Frank Fairchild.

The first thing discussed was the new Community Development Group that approached Lori about having t-ball on the field as a community activity. They would like us to purchase the equipment for this activity. Warren’s concern was that Sago is involved in this and that maybe Sago could contribute something to the recreation activities also. Lori will ask Gina if she approached Sago about the activity.

Rink

Frank Fairchild showed up to update us on the rink. The ice is good. He changed the hours from 5-8. Shirley Lindahl and Chris Lindahl are the employees of the rink. Frank reported that there are 14 different steady skaters that use the rink. Frank talked to Warren about opening up the one end to get the 4-wheeler in to plow rink.

Ball fields

Lori is going to talk to Kevin again about the tilling of the baselines. Frank suggested buying roundup after we redo baselines so when he mows he can keep the weeds down on the baselines. Warren will talk to Gary Sutherland about agraline for the baselines.

Frank will still mow next summer but is unsure of the price yet.

Lori will go to the next Community Development Group on March 6th to find out more what they need.
